Microwave Implementation Engineer:
Main Responsibilities:
• Design and Configure the transmission network requirements.
• Adaptation of transmission links as required by rollout and expansion plans.
• Planning and configuration of new network elements.
• Providing Bill of Quantity for site cost estimates.
• Provide technical solution, layout and detail MW design (including link budget, frequency and capacity etc.) with Path loss and related tools.
• Provide technical solution and layout for DXX (Grooming & Provide solutions for NMS of MW of DXX.
• Responsible for on-site survey, MW installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Pre study the available transmission medium in different project regions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or above in Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledgeable with transmission planning tools.
• Traffic dimensioning and calculations.
• Hand-on knowledge of network design for big network with PDH, SDH, equipment, and with hot standby, Space Diversity technology for complete design.
• Experience with operator or preferably OEM/vendor environment.
• Able to understand multinational company work environment.
• Technical documentation skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Accountable to Transmission Manager.
• Sense of responsibility to complete tasks assigned on time and in proper manner.
• Self initiative to improve competency of technical knowledge and skills.
• Proper reporting of daily work progress to immediate supervisor.
